How to add a caption to an image in google docs?

You can add a caption to an image in Google Docs by following these steps:

1.Insert an image into your Google Docs document by clicking on the "Insert" menu, selecting "Image," and then choosing the source of your image.

2.Click on the image to select it.

3.Click on the "Insert" menu again and select "Caption."

4.Type the text of your caption into the box that appears.

5.You can format your caption text by selecting it and using the formatting options in the toolbar, such as bold, italic, or underlined.

6.You can also adjust the position of the caption by clicking and dragging it to a different location.

7.Click away from the image to exit caption editing mode.

Your caption will now be attached to the image and will move with it if you reposition the image. Note that captions in Google Docs are not automatically numbered, but you can manually add a number or label to your caption text if desired.
