How to play ps2 games from usb with free mcboot

To play PS2 games from USB with Free McBoot, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Install Free McBoot: You will need to install Free McBoot on your PS2 memory card in order to load games from USB. You can find tutorials and installation guides online for how to install Free McBoot.

2. Prepare the USB drive: Connect the USB drive to your computer and format it as FAT32. Create a folder on the USB drive called "PS2ISO" (without the quotes) and copy your PS2 game ISO files into this folder.

3. Load Free McBoot: Insert the Free McBoot memory card into your PS2 console and turn it on. Free McBoot should load automatically.

4. Load Open PS2 Loader: From the Free McBoot menu, select "Launch FMCB" and then "Launch uLaunchELF." In uLaunchELF, navigate to the "mass:" folder and select "OPL" to load Open PS2 Loader.

5. Configure Open PS2 Loader: In Open PS2 Loader, go to "Settings" and then "Device Settings." Choose "USB Device" and select "USB Games" to scan for PS2 game ISOs on the USB drive.

6. Play the game: After Open PS2 Loader finishes scanning, select the game you want to play and press X to start the game. The game should load from the USB drive.

Note that playing games from USB on a PS2 console may not work for all games and may have varying levels of success. Additionally, copying and distributing copyrighted game ISO files may be illegal in some countries, so make sure you own the original game or have permission from the copyright holder before copying and using game ISO files.
