How to play shared games on steam at the same time
According to Steam's Subscriber Agreement, only one person can access a shared game library at a time. If another person tries to access a shared game while someone else is playing it, they will receive an error message indicating that the game is currently being used by someone else.
However, there is a way to play shared games on Steam at the same time using Steam Family Sharing and Remote Play Together. Here are the steps:
1. The account that owns the game must enable Family Sharing on their Steam account. To do this, go to Steam > Settings > Family, and check the box next to "Authorize Library Sharing on this computer."
2. Log in to the account that wants to access the shared game library on their own computer.
3. The account that owns the game must then share their library with the other account. To do this, go to Steam > Settings > Family, and select "Authorize Library Sharing on other computers." Then, select the account you want to share your library with.
4. The other account will receive a notification that the shared library is now available to them. They can now access the shared library and play the games.
5. To play the same game at the same time, the person who owns the game can start the game and then use Steam Remote Play Together to invite the other person to join the game.
Keep in mind that both accounts must have a good internet connection to use Remote Play Together, and the quality of the gameplay may be affected by network latency. Additionally, not all games are compatible with Remote Play Together, so this method may not work for every game.
